La Chaire Aging UP! vous propose sa première série de podcasts de son colloque international en anglais The Value of Aging & Long Term Care Policies, qui s’est tenu à Paris les 31/03 et 01/04/2025.
L’objectif de ce colloque était d’explorer les grands enjeux économiques et politiques liés au vieillissement à l’échelle internationale et notamment la capacité de nos politiques publiques à répondre aux besoins des séniors et de leur entourage en invitant des spécialistes du champ.
Ce colloque a réuni des spécialistes internationaux du vieillissement (Harvard, Duke, USC, LSE, Lausanne, Trieste, Bristol, OCDE etc.) autour d’une série de présentations et de tables rondes. Il a également été l’occasion de présenter les premiers résultats de l’enquête Aging UP!, qui étudie les préférences des séniors et de leur entourage dans 6 pays (France, Pays-Bas, Italie, Espagne, Royaume Uni et Etats-Unis).
Cet évènement s’est tenu dans le Grand Amphithéâtre du site Odéon, coeur historique de l’université, situé au 12 rue de l’Ecole de Médecine.
The aim of this international conference was to explore the major economic and political issues associated with ageing, and in particular the ability of our public policies to meet the needs of senior citizens and their families, by inviting specialists in the field.
The conference brought together international specialists in the field of ageing (Harvard, Duke, USC, LSE, Lausanne, Trieste, Bristol, OECD, etc.) for a series of presentations and round tables. It was also an opportunity to present the first results of the Aging UP! survey, which studies the preferences of seniors and caregivers in 6 countries (France, the Netherlands, Italy, Spain, the United Kingdom and the United States).
This conference was held at the Université Paris Cité Grand Amphithéâtre, in its historic heart.
