Aging UP! Survey

The Aging UP! research consortium has set itself the goal of informing public decision-making on aging policies through the results of a major national and international survey.

The Aging UP! survey explores two main questions:

– How can we best understand the individual preferences of older adults and their caregivers (current and future) regarding aging and dependency, in France and internationally? This section of the survey reflects our Organization of long-term care research focus.

– How can we identify the preferences of French people regarding preventive healthcare programs at key life stages (ages 40–60 and 60–70)? This section reflects the research focus of the Aging UP! scientific program.

A two-part survey

The Aging UP! team is currently developing a large-scale, original survey aimed at improving our understanding of the preferences of older adults and their support networks with regard to the challenges of aging. Divided into two complementary sections, this survey will enable us to determine individual preferences across the core research areas of the Aging UP! scientific program, namely:

  1. Support strategies for loss of independence
  2. Preventive healthcare programs

The Aging UP! research consortium is supported by Mutuelles AXA and the Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations (French Deposits and Consignments Fund).
